Formerly based in Chicago, Matthew is a veteran music journalist. His reporting and criticism have appeared in dozens of publications, including Rolling Stone, Spin, the Los Angeles Times, GRAMMY.com, BET Digital and his beleaguered hometown daily, the Chicago Tribune. Matthew has no hobbies to speak of, unless reading and writing count.
