Two male suspects were taken into custody and arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Bremerton.

How the Bremerton Credit Union Robbery Unfolded

It happened just after 5 pm, Tuesday. One of the suspects walked into a Kitsap Credit Union branch in the 6600 block of State Highway 303 N.E., with a threatening note and a demand for cash.

The Suspects Fled the Credit Union in a Dark-Colored SUV

With an undetermined amount of cash in hand, the suspect exited the credit union, and hopped into the getaway vehicle.

Former KCSO Cadet Helped Locate the Getaway SUV

Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputies obtained a description of the getaway vehicle, which was spotted a short time later by a former KCSO cadet who now works as an animal control officer.

Police Conducted a High-Risk Traffic Stop

Kitsap County Sheriff's Deputies and police officers worked together in the high-risk traffic stop. They surrounded the SUV while both suspects remained inside. The suspects were ordered to drop the keys and exit the vehicle with their hands up.

Evidence Recovered After the Arrests

Money taken in the alleged robbery and other items were seized as evidence.

Both suspects were taken into custody and arrested. Both were booked into the Kitsap County Jail.
